The UK National Lottery never sends a mail telling you how much you won. They also don't pay out money to people who have not paid to play. See the link where they explain scams.

Its a SCAM...
Think about it.. If you won a Lottery... Anywhere in the WORLD..... Don't you think they would fly you out there so, they can have you on TV and whatever else...
Think about it.. Here in the US.. If anyone wins anything even near a million.. Its all over the newspapers and TV...

There probley going to try and steal your identity or after you fill out Payment Processing.. There going to say please send us (about) $5,000 for the taxes and processing fees...

So, I wouldn't do anything but, just ignore them.. Or write back and say.. Send me the money and I'll send you the info back once I received it..
They will never answer you back.. and I would try and call you Internet provider and tell them about it...

Good luck with everything and let us know what happens...
Jay

If you did not enter the lottery it is almost certainly a scam. If you entered the lottery it is possible it could be for real. Do they want some money? Do they want personal data? Be suspiscious in either case. But if you did win, wow, congratulations!!! Have a great time!

No! The lottery never emails or mails about winning! They're probably asking you for money too right?...Don't pay anything! And if you still are iffy about my advice call the number if one is provided...Hope this helps ;)

No, it's a big scam aimed at getting your personal info, especially your bank account information. They will probably require you to send a "deposit" so that your winnings will be sent to you. Beware!!

It's fake. It's not authentic. They just want you to send money and you never get it back. Those kind of people get arrested for stealing.
