I used Natasha Bedingford "Single" for both bouquet and garter and the guys thought it was hilarious. However I think it would be funny (IF the bride wouldn't kill you for this--to use promiscuous girl. if they do the man who catches garter puts it back on girl who catches bouquet, that would be a great song)
(I had also thought since my husband is into country music and I am more R&B--to play country Jamie ONeal's song "Trying to find Atlantis" for the bouquet toss, and then something "Single" for the garter, but I ended up just doing the same song for both)
A friend played Kris Kross "Jump Jump" for a laugh but that was more humorous than trendy.

I would say (all you need is love) Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts club band, You only need that part where John Lennon is singing all you need is love. Hard Day's Night or She loves you are also really good songs for a garter toss

We used Mission Impossible Theme Song (it had no words but said so much) and the DJ and guests loved it as the garter toss song. Good luck with all your planning!

I've heard of a lot of people who chose the Mission Impossible Theme. I think that's pretty funny.
I like the Promiscuous Girl suggestion though, that's pretty trendy.
You could also use Your Body Is A Wonderland by John Mayer.

I dont know if this would be appropriate at all...and I dont think it is a trendy song...But Joe Cockers "You can leave your hat on" would be cool to me. Do people play songs during this?
