Is Stargate Atlantis worth buying (full season dvds)? Where's the best prices? What seasons are best? What's Stargate Atlantis normally rated (G,PG,etc.)?

My answer is yes. Where are the best prices? That varies. Until recently, I would only buy gate seasons when they were on sale, but now that they've introduced the thin-packs, they're a lot cheaper. I got season one from bestbuy.com on sale for $20.00 and season two on amazon for $34.99. The episodes are usually rated either PG or TV14 (TV's version of PG-13) for language and/or violence and usually don't get any worse than SG-1 ever did. Out of the three seasons that have come out so far, I like 3 the best, although it is closely followed by 1.

Is is worth buying is a matter of opinion. If you really like the series that it may be worth ti to you. I was always a much bigger fan of SG! while Richard Dean Anderson was still on the show.
If you buy the seasons from WalMart they are
$44.20ish. but if you buy the seasons through Buy.com you can get them for $27.48. here are links to the first and second season.

Again, you can't say one season is universally better than another. If you were looking to start collecting them, I'd suggest starting with season one and working up to the third season, And by then the fourth season should be out in a box set.
I believe Stargate is rated TVPG.

I'm going to say yes, it is worth it. I haven't seen much of season 3 yet, but season 1 is great in how it shows the team trying to survive and make allies with out any help from earth, or anyone else for that matter. Wal-Mart generally has the best prices I've seen, and it normally rated between G and PG-13.

I loved season's 1 and 2! I had to stop watching though because of school but I still wished I watched it! If you like scifi, I'm sure you'll love Stargate Atlantis! I think it's a great show...I always enjoyed watching it :)
