One of the themes is that we are here because on some level we decide we wanted to know good AND evil (We ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil), so we could have a physical ride and hopefully find our way back home. So enjoy the ride and let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth, but give up all hope of finding anything outside yourself that can truly bring happiness and peace.

I'd say there are a few different themes, depending on whether you're talking about the Old Testament or the New Testament. There MUST be, otherwise Judaism and Christianity would be the same thing.
The main theme of the New Testament is salvation through Christ and the grace of God. Romans is a pretty decent summary of the main themes of the New Testament (I'm not saying I agree or believe any of it - after all, I'm one of those non-believers who thinks he knows the Bible).
The Old Testament is more complex as far as a theme (to me at least), so I'm less confident of my understanding of it all, but it seems to focus more on the "here and now", as far as living a faithful life within the boundaries set forth by God. The Pentateuch has countless examples of what happens to people who disobey God and what happens to people who have unwavering faith in Him.
...am i close?

The main theme is love and worship God, accept Jesus as your savior and you will join them in eternity of heaven when the appropriate time comes.
There are several lessons, but that is the main idea in the New Testament. Of course, I personally find it to be an untrue and outdated means of universal control, but that is why I am a non-believer.

I'm not sure what makes you the ultimate authority on what the "main theme" of the Bible is. I'd guess you'd get a dozen different answers to that from purported Christians.
Anyway, here's my answer.
"God is the boss."

I agree but what is even more funnier is church goers, christians and preachers that say they know the Bible and really don't. They know something but it isn't the true Bible. So guess what the world is taught?

The main theme is how a vicious god wants to subjugate all of mankind to worship him and to obey the Priestley caste.
Oh you mean we are only allowed to have the same view of it as you?

Yeah, ask a Jew what they think the "theme" is and see if it agrees with yours. I doubt it will even though you claim to know what the old testament is about.
