What other color would you want him to be? And why?

If he ever chose to change from Green, I would want him to be Purple, because Purple is the color of transmutation and I would like to see him transmute in a ball of violet flame. I think that would be VERY cool.

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT I DO NOT LIKE THE GREEN!!! Just wondering, that's all. And hey, by the way, why green??

((((Vicarious)))) -- we need to go to a concert or two together . . . . As soon as your name popped up I knew what was going to be there.

((((Retro)))) -- are you moving stateside anytime soon??? What a shame your youth precludes me from flying to England on my vacation. I draw my limit at 20 years -- two decades apart is more than I can handle.

I cannot NOT give hugs all around: ((((Madpol)))) Gemini is an interesting concept but not the color I was looking for.

((((Gnostic)))) -- You and Pangel must be sisters or clones of each other. Thank you.

Right now, I'm rolling on the floor laughing my cingulum off, right through the loops in my summer green outfit, which I wear under my bright blue cloak (Again, summer wear). I DO however wear a nice deep Maroon cloak over my brown outfit for fall and winter ceremnoies. Black is for Samhain wear ONLY, to celebrate all those who have joyfully graduated the lessons of their last life.

To be a Green Witch is the same as being a Hedge Witch. A Green Witch worships in the outdoors, gathering altar decorations right then and there at the moment. There is no Formal Altar. A stump, log, nice soft patch of green grass or moss, or a tall forked stick, called a stang, tend to be used as Altars. We have no formal rituals that we follow by rote, every single time we do a ceremony. We DO have a general outline that we follow but the actual words are made up on the spot, as Goddess or God interact with us during our rites. Some of us DO cast a circle to delineate Sacred Space (including myself), many do not even do that. The Green Tradition tends to worship God as Green man and Goddess as the Huntress/Gatheress Goddess. Green Witchery is just one of the many traditions that exist in the world of Witchcraft and, although MANY Green Witches do not consider themselves Wiccans, per se, I DO consider myself to be a Wiccan, in that I actually hold Religious meditations and ceremonies. Green Witches tend to have a lot of similarites with Shamans, in that we gather wild herbs and make healing remedies from them. I am very knowledgeable of just about ALL the wild plants, fungi, stones, and places that have healing properties on my property and the surrounding areas, as well. WE make tinctures, ointments, salves, decoctions, tisanes, powders, oils, and other healing recipes that are found in our Books of Shadows, which never get finished (The books, not the remedies, LOL). We are continuosly adding new material to them and as such MOST of us either keep our books in loose leaf binders or, like me, keep them on a CD so that changes and additions can be added into the corresponding sections. We tend to be Masters of folk Remedies and can pretty much tell you any folk medicine for just about any common ailment and a few not-so-common illnesses as well.

As for transmutation, THIS little Green Witch does NOT do any transmutation, or any other spell work for that matter. LOL Hope that explains why the Green. LOL

Brightest Blessings,
Raji the Green Witch

edit, I just KNOW that yo folks are scrambling to find out what the heck a cingulum IS. I'll help out, Second meaning. http://phrontistery.info/c.html

I hope I can be corrected if I am wrong, but I think that it's not a colour choice, rather an indication of his beliefs.

Like I say, I'm not 100% sure.

There seems to be a wide range of different kinds of Witch, although I really have no clue as to what the differences are. Perhaps Raji will answer later to clarify for us.

PS: I'd go with purple too. It's close behind black as my favourite colour.

Shihan1 thank you for this question I was wondering how I could honor Raji here.

I'd have Raji be colored Love.
I know it sounds stupid but with the right eyes it’s radiant white and solid.
I also know Raji is already colored Love but I wish everyone could see it.
Bless you Raji.

♥Blessed Be♥

Well...sometimes Raji's answers make him seem like a natural blonde. But that's only because he gets so caught up in his own cleverness sometimes that he forgets that there was a question.

So Gemini Witch would suit him as well.

rather than a colour , I would give him a season
Raji the autumn witch
all greens and browns and golds

I can picture him in an autumn cloak with these colours
representing an end to the old to make way for the new
