For selection and location-
Del Amo in Torrance. And as a side note, it is only 2 miles from another large mall, The Galleria at South Bay, in Redondo Beach. Just up Hawthorne Blvd.

Also for selection and location, as well as ease of parking, Lakewood Center Mall in Lakewood is hard to beat. It's also 3 miles from Los Cerritos Center Mall, in Cerritos ( and the auto mega mall Cerritos Auto Square ). And 6 miles, from Stonewood Center Mall in Downey . Between these 3 malls you have over 600 shops and restaurants to shop in! And all are within a 15 minute drive of each other.

In Orange County, Make South Coast Plaza your destination first. Followed by The Block at Orange. Between these two you will find everything you need and want.

In Riverside Head to Ontario Mills Another Mega mall. And also the fairly new Victoria Gardens.

On the upper East side Santa Anita Fashion Park in Arcadia, and the beautiful Paseo Colorado in nearby Pasadena will have you decked out with all you need.

On the Northwest side head to Glendale Galleria and Burbank Towne Center in Burbank. You will also find an Ikea at Burbank, which is a destination in itself!

For sheer fun however The Beverly Center is hard to beat... Plan to have lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe.
The Grove is also a fun spot. Both are in West Hollywood.
In Orange County, head to Downtown Disney, and be sure to grab a meal at the Rainforest Cafe!

We have so many nice malls its hard to call which one is the nicest. South Coast Plaza in Orange County is great. South Bay Galeria in Redondo Beach, Del Amo Mall in Torrance and of course the most fun is on weekends at the Orange County Marketplace in Costa Mesa at the OC Fairgrounds.

we go to many malls- but we like The Avenue of the Peninsula- in Rolling Hills Estates, we go up there and see a movie- have a nice lunch, and son plays in the fountain, there's skating rink, stores... and since you asked- no bums :)
