Okay, so I accidently dropped my digital camera. And now when I turn it on, the lens goes out, and then right back in.. And when it goes out, the screen comes on, but then when it goes in, the screen shuts off. Whats the problem and how do I fix it? Thanks.

You'll probably have to send it in for repairs. Even if its still under warranty you'll have to pay since the warranty doesn't cover abuse - and dropping is definitely abuse. You may find that buying a new camera is more cost-effective than repairing unless yours is a high-end DSLR.

In the future, I hope you'll use a good quality neck strap. In 36 years of lugging cameras around I've yet to drop one.

On some models on the bottom there is a reset button (it will be TINY--and you will have to use a pin or something to push it down)...try that--a few times (even if it doesn't work the first couple of times). IF that doesn't work you are going to have to send it (or take it to a camera shop) for repair. GOOD LUCK xoxo

The lens could have been bent during the impact. I would send it back to the manufacturer and if it is still under warranty, it should be fixed for free. Best wishes.
