I've visited the Motorola site, couldn't find anything but their new "universal" remote. I want one just like the one I dropped. It's 5-6 years old.

If it's still wet, you can soak it in DISTILLED water for a few hours to dissolve the minerals, then let it air dry. If it's dry, then soak it in distilled water for 24 hours, or so, then let it air dry. Or, you can take it apart and wipe things down with rubbing alcohol. Leaving mineralized water (tap water) in it will almost certainly guarantee it's failure due to corrosion.

There are tags interior telephones that hit upon if a telephone has been immersed in liquid, so in the adventure that your coverage would not conceal unintended harm you will no longer get a sparkling one. you may get some distilled water and resoak your telephone, then take aside the countless products (back conceal, battery, etc) and circulate away it to dry for sure over a pair of days. Distilled water will wash away any impurities, and has no different bits in it that can reason corrosion to the circuit boards. After a pair of days your telephone could be back up and dealing.
