Rachel Ray eats like a pig you see her on 40 dollars a day??? It could just be metabolism. I know I eat like a pig and I'm thin too...I look around and wonder where all my bread went and I live alone so I had to eat it, I go through like 2 or more loaves a week. I cook whole chicken and steaks and all sorts of stuff....and I eat it all. I went on a trip to Puerto Rico and I swear I ate 6 or 7 meals a day.....my family just couldn't believe it. The food was beyond good and I couldn't help it. LOL.....

Ingrid Hoffman isn't incredibly thin...she looks pretty healthy in my opinion, definitely not tiny. The chefs you named as thin all cook pretty healthfully, with the exception of maybe Rachael Ray once in awhile. They all have ridiculously active lifestyles, and most can probably afford trainers (especially Bobby and Rachael!). Plus, I know Rachael's weight fluctuates, and she is always talking on her shows about how much she loves hiking and biking and other outdoor activities.
It is the older chefs that are bigger, from your list, at least. They've been in the business longer, probably don't work out nearly as often, and at least Paula and Emeril use a TON of fatty things in their foods. Not to say they aren't good!
Talk about thin chefs, as well...Giada DeLaurentis! So jealous of her tiny figure.

It could be exercise or metabolism. But in all honesty it's how busy you stay and how stressed you are. At least for me. You get so busy and stressed that you actually forget to eat. I've been made fun of for the "never trust a skinny cook" too. You see your own food so often that you're just not hungry for it.

i'm 19 and a school pupil. I did earnings the freshman 15 (and then at present misplaced 5 thoroughly on coincidence) and that i now weigh around a hundred and ten kilos. i actually haven't any theory how I stay this way because of the fact I consume a ton and do surprisingly lots no exercising. i think of it rather relies upon on your genetics and metabolism.

Um, Rachel Ray has never been thin. You know Justin Wilson wasn't gonna last too much longer eatin' all that stuff he was cookin'.

up until 4/2005 I never weighed more than 145lb
I went through heart surgery and with in two months I was 160lb and later 175 I am now 160
The antibiotics killed all my good enzymes and other good bugs in my digestive system.
people stay thin because of their genetics.

they probably do eat, but they exercise and stay healthy. also, you don't need to eat A LOT to eat good food. they probably just don't eat huge quantities of what they're making. And some people just enjoy cooking and the process of it, rather than eating the food.
