For example, there is no mention of how two of every dinosaur would fit on the Noah boat. Reason: the writer was a storyteller who didn't know about dinosaurs yet.

Interesting how there's scarcely anything in the stories that would indicate an all-knowing Being's knowledge of the future. Where are the discussions of automobiles, cancer, robots, air pollution, asteroid collisions and the moons of Jupiter? Oh yeah, a Creator would know about these things, but the primitive HUMANS who wrote these stories did not.

If a Supreme Being wanted to give humanity a message, It would make it relevant and identifiable to more than a couple particular generations and their activities. For example, where does the Bible talk about abortion?
With "Genesis" debunked, what of the rest of it?

Nothing can undermine the Word of God. Not even finite little man.

I fail to see how you are debunking Genesis. This is the bible you are talking about, not a fortune teller magazine. Most if not all prophecies foretelling the future must be taken into context. Forecasting the doom of prosperous civilizations and major metropolis's to those very people was just as unbelievable as predicting robots. It seems like your concerns were not as relevant then.
Relevance does demonstrates a more compassionate God since context is kept to those alive at the time as a warning to which they could act, just as the recording of the historical failure serves as a reminder that what God has dictated had come to pass. There is a whole list of cities for example that were told of their demise at the crux of their existence, while specifics survivors are mentioned. No human knows the future, but a true god could pass it along.

I know how you must be feeling about this one !! I've had some same thoughts & or questions like this YEARS ago !! & was never given an answer that made any sense !! except that there was never any dinosaur !?! I think that's a bunch of bull !! lol So I came up with my own answer concerning dinosaurs & the Bible !! & this is what I came up with using my own soOo`,called rational thinking... Since it says tis planet was lifeless & formless!?! "I" came up with... It was God that created them !! In`oder to have some fleshly life`forn to use in such a way that the dinosaurs would be the first living things!?! Either just to see how a life form would be able to survive on hid- creation !?! & then they died off after some years !?! & then that's when he.... made a life-form in his own image to see how it would workout!?! Since maybe at first all that would manage to grow is plants !?! & the reason they had been able to survive is do to some mist like substance!?! Sort of like the process of evaporation that goes up & comes down a short time later in the form of what we know of as RAIN !?!...My explaination of this is much TOo long !! & for the most~part it's what I came up with myself when I was much younger !! thought up by me when I was a kid when having bible studies !! & I feel that even some scientist could Only give you an O P I N I O N on this matter !! Other than that,' You must just except how it's stated in the Bible !!. I only think about this at times now !! Because having the process of creation on my mid so often 'I think may have me questioning ~!!?!! & that I will not do !!`'R"r,r`r.r'.-

Well sir, God has given us prophecy to know that His Word is true. Jesus fulfilled prophecy, as did the rise and fall of the following countries: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, and the ten barbarian tribes that came after it, and even Papal Rome. Did you know that King Cyrus actually read a prophecy that essentially said, "Hey Cyrus, when you read this, you need to let the Jews go back to Palestine." It mentions the guy by name. Just that stuff defies human ability. And even though men were shown visions of the future, they often did not have the ability to describe what they saw. And to them, the important thing was not to describe cars, rather the moral condition men would be in. But you still find descriptions like, "many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel 12:4
To your first question I would say, Yes, if Genesis is compromised, the rest of the book will soon follow. That is why Satan works so hard to impress upon people that it is a fairy tale.

Your argument is absolutely ridiculous ! For one thing , dinosours disappeared a long time BEFORE Noah , so what did you expect ? He should`ve taken their skeletons on board ?

As for the discussions of automobiles, cancer, robots, air pollution, asteroid collisions and the moons of Jupiter ........... the Bible has a purpose , and that is mainly to tell people how they came about , the existence of God , His purposes for creating the heavens and earth , His purposes for creating humans , how He expects us to conduct ourselves , and explaining mankind`s future on earth .

Unfortunately , He didn`t add sections on how to repair your '95 Oldsmobile , Astronomy , Robotics , and Medicine . He considers abortion murder , so would you expect a section on a "do it yourself" for that too ?

Would you really expect to find a section on automatic transmission repairs in a medical surgical techniques reference book ? Why not ? Because that`s not the purpose of the book

Or how about a chapter on how God parted the Red Sea in an Appliance Repair manual ? Maybe you should complain to the publishers of these types of books too ?

You haven`t "debunked" Genesis one bit Maximillian , and you never will !

The only thing you`ve "debunked" with your genius "theory" , is the myth that you have a brain !

Ah, because the term "dinosaur" hadn't been invented until the 19th century. The writer of Genesis(Moses) didn't mention rabbits, squirrels or chipmunks either, yet I am sure he knew about them.

The book of Genesis is a history book written by Moses under the inspiration of God. Why would there be discussions about future things that were irrelevant to the those involved in this history?

God gave a message that permeates all of Scripture, salvation comes through the messiah, Christ, and it wasn't for all humanity, only the believers, Jew and Gentile.

Your logic is flawed, your thinking obtuse and your understanding of Scripture is feeble. You are the one who is "debunked".

huh??... you debunked the Genesis because it dosen't mention cell phones or computers... So ti is true that atheism is indeed logical...

"If a Supreme Being wanted to give humanity a message, It would make it relevant and identifiable to more than a couple particular generations and their activities." -- The Bible is very relevant and very identifiable to this day.

Every book has a subject. The subject of the Bible is about redemption of mankind. It does not deal with genealogies and such (1 Timothy 1:4; Titus 3:9)

The Bible is only ridiculous if you insist on taking it as literal history, and as the literally-inspired Word if God. There is no particular point in calling the Arabian Nights "ridiculous." You're free to appreciate the stories for what they are, and even to glean moral lessons from them, because you're not busy trying to stultify yourself into believing that they're "literally true."

Does Genesis undermine the whole Bible? Again, I think Genesis undermines itself if you insist that it's an accurate historical account, because independent research has proved conclusively that it is not. Same with every other book of the Bible.

Why, in your question, does it not tell of everything in your life? Who you are? Where you are? How did you get to this point? Why? Why? Why?

That is what the rest of the 66 books are for. It is ridiculous to assume everything had to be placed in the first book. Moses wrote 5 of them.
