i use the christain bible and im not catholic but if your fav is from the catholic books i will look them up too. ps. if you are from another religion or are athiest please dont put any rude comments but its fine to say wat religion you are.

Hey Christians why the thumbs down? this is a real verse...But it's probably not something they would cover in church.

We also, use a "Christian Bible" as Catholics, it is the same Bible as any other but Martin Luther took out some books in the Old Testament.

It is so hard to choose a favorite. Right now it's Psalm 119:
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray,
but now I obey your word.

But I have all of psalm 25, 27 and 34 memorized And I love psalm 145. I love it all it depends on the day of the week and my mood.

Song: Currently it is a tie between Shane and Shane's "Psalm 145" and "In Christ Alone" by Geoff Moore and Adrienne leischeing(spelling?)

well my favorite bible verse is a quote from jesus-He said,"know that i have not come to bring peace but a sword"the only true prophasy to ever come true in the bible.ever since christs crucifixion the 4 dominant religions(christianity,judism,catholics and muslims have been killing each other all in the name of their God.the sad thing is that they are all worshiping the same god and still cant get along.they systematically killed all the peacefull pagans and burned their temples then built churches over top of them! even christmas is a lie as it was in April not in December.they moved the date to Dec.25th in order to cover-up the pagan holiday thats on Dec.21st. in order to make the people forget about the pagan holiday.
I dont have a favorite christian song because i am no longer a preacher after i found out the sinister truth about the bible and the church fathers.

The Catholic bible is the Christian Bible dear. Protestants use the Hebrew Canon of 90AD and Catholics use the Hebrew/Greek Canon of 33AD which the Gospel writers quote.

This comes out of a different English Trans of Job
"Even if God should kill me, I would still trust him" (Job13: 15)." The NRSV bible notes that this is also a translation for this verse.

Also in the Greek copy of Daniel we have the Song of the Three Jews 3:51-90

(In other words: "We found a villiage full of peaceful, unarmed people who are good at farming and have a lot of stuff! Let's attack them!")

(In other words: The Israelites killed the Laish people, took their stuff, burned their city to the ground, and built a new one on the ruins)

See, it was okay though, because it was Israel doing the attacking, and they also saved the villiage priest. Also, stealing all of Micah's stuff was okay, because Micah owned a single graven image. And when you own one bad thing, it's okay to steal everything you own.

Hi, one of my favorite verses, is John 16:31, from the NIV Bible. Because it was the response Jesus gave to me when I commented on the prospect of Him being glad that I finally believed in His genuine love for me. Though I had read over this verse before I never noticed it, until His Holy Spirit 'directed' me to open my Bible when I returned from a short trip. It fell open to the page this scripture was on and my eyes were drawn to this specific passage. As soon as I read it I had to laugh out loud! It once again proved to me that my other favorite scripture is currently valid! It's from Hebrews 4:12 It speaks of the word of God being alive and powerfully wise..etc. As for a favorite song, you ask the impossible! Forgive me, but I have to list the three-way tie between: This Little Child by Scott Wesley Brown..Find Your Wings by Mark Harris... & Breathe by Marie Barnett If you check em' out you might have trouble just choosing one too! If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them. Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place. And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

I interpret this to mean that God wants us to stone our children to death when they are insolent and stubborn and disobedient. What do you think? I'm atheist and this is not a rude comment; it's actually IN the King James Version.
