All sensations from skin is due to nerve endings present at the specific spots. In some regions of our body there are more nerves (like armpits etc.) compared to the others. Even amongst the nerves each one discerns different sensation for the same stimulus. For eg: when u runa needle lightly and slowly over the skin of ur arm u wud sometimes feel pricking sensation in other place u wud experience cold and in other place a tickling sensation. However when the density of nerves at sensitive spots is higher you wud experience tickling sensation because in response to a touch.
