As a dentist, this is what I've done routinely for patients with toothaches.

NSAIDS or Ibuprofen and Tylenol.
Advil Liquigels work best.
Take 800 mg Advil then 3 hours later take 1000 mg of tylenol then 3 hours later 800 Advil.

Ask your dentist first pls as you may have medical reasons to not follow the plan above.

This works as good if not better than narcotics like vicodin.

Sinus or not, get it pulled. It is almost never a reason to not pull a tooth.

Sometimes you may want to leave a wisdom tooth impacted but if a tooth is decaying, then pulling a tooth is mandatory even if the sinuses are close. The worst case is that you need to have a second surgery to close the sinus hole made from the extraction.

Keep smiling

hi, ok the meds would be antibiotics, take some panadol/aspirin whatever you prefer. ibuprofen is also touted as a toothache pill nowdays too. never found it worked that much better for the health risk!
they wont do anything till the infection is cleared, so you have to take all the course then be assessed again.
i am sorry but as to a tooth in the sinus cavity...nope.
nowhere near your teeth.
the sinus is a duct at the side of nose that links to the eye ducts. you know how if you use eye drops ,your nose drips and you can taste the drops..?? thats the sinus area.
applying clove oil to the offending tooth base may assist pain and healing of the abcess also.
inhaling steam from tea tree oil in hot water may relieve the sinus pain a bit.

First of all if you plan on not going to the dentist any time soon you need to keep the tooth clean! Keep up with you brushing and flossing. For pain take any ant-inflammatory, also you can alternate warm packs and cold. I strongly suggest on looking in to getting something called care credit (some company own dentist have it) I would go to a company owned dentist....they will have many branches...they are always cheaper. Care Credit is a line of credit that will help you pay for the cost. I would get this taken care of before it gets bad. also for sensitive teeth try fluoride rise called ACT you can buy almost anywhere

I can honeslty tell you that I have had that and the other 3 pulled. It is very very painful. The only thing that you could do is take tylenol or something. Or you could just get a prescription for pain from your dentist. Usually they would prescribe Ibuprofin at a high dose. That should'nt be a problem because the dentist know's that it could be very painful. That's as good as pain relief can get besides having them pulled. Hope this helps :)

Didn't they give you a pain killer? Also, don't stall in getting the teeth pulled. It isn't worth what would happen if you don't. Get on with it. If they didn't give you a pain killer, call the dentist up to give you a prescription.

What kind of meds did they give you? Call them and ask what they recommend. You could try ibuprofen in the meantime.
