When I was in my pre-teen and teen years. When I was sleeping I felt as if the devil or a demon was trying to overpower me. I would get in a violent struggle with whatever it was, invoking Jesus name and eventually was able to fight it off.

The last time I felt i am possessed by an evil spirit was before I receive the holy baptism.

Demon, no. I do space out a lot. Then again, there can be different takes on 'demons'. If I speak of anger as a demon, then yes, I do feel as though I've been possessed.

Sorry but such a description does not exist in the original Greek - it is 'to have a demon' or 'be demonised.' No - most people with demons have no idea that they have them nor does anyone else. Takes spiritual discernment to tell.

Right on Don H! and for all the little demon thumbs, I agree with Don H 110%, and I tease Sandra B with an inside joke about 'brainwashing by fear' as fear is a horrible motivator for teaching Love You can't fight fear with fear, or hate with hate.

Demons are a handy excuse, a nice place to put the blame for the things we wish we did not think or do.
It lets us off the hook and lets us avoid doing the mental house cleaning and self-disiplining that we need to do.
