I like to put butter and maple syrup on half and butter and a flavored syrup or raspberry jam on the other half. I found that too much of the flavored syrups or jam is too overpowering/sweet, so 1/2 and 1/2 is good for me!

Strawberries and whipped cream or Cool Whip. But even better is that I like to make ice cream sandwiches using two toaster waffles. Just pop two in the toaster, let them cool and using a boxed ice cream, slice it and place it between the two waffles. totally yummy! (You can freeze them for later.)
