If we just stopped answering those questions they'd stop asking them. 18 & older might be nice, too!
Here a good example you answered yourself.

I don't find these kinds of questions unreasonable. I think some people like to fool around and ask silly questions, but I think some people can't phrase their questions correctly...There are a lot of little kids on YA! writing nonsensical things, but I think those that are genuine, may want to know a "different way" to prepare a burger or a "new twist" on making french fries, they just can't word their questions correctly...

Why are you so mad at them? Come on, people have points and they are using it to ask questions. These are easy questions right, that means 2 easy points. This is a question and answer site. People can ask anything here as long as it doesnt violate community guidelines or is humiliating to any specific group of people.
Stay cool..

My mother never taught me to cook, (not even mac and cheese or hot dogs) so when I got married I was sooo on my own. I never realized how much my Mom "tweaked" recipes till I tried to follow the cookbook, or the directions on the box. It was all trial and error, but some people are afraid to "fail". Food is expensive, and most people want their food to taste GOOD. Who wants to waste money on something you thought would be good and then ruin it cuz you didn't know the basics??

Some people are asking these questions to earn points on "Yahoo Answers". Others ask for the exposure they get when asking. There are even those who ask just to see who answers.

Us seniors don't ask those kinds of questions. I often wonder about the age group on this site.

Why ask why? People need outside feed to even the most simple of resolutions. That's what makes us human.
