By your logic, Albert Einstein must have been a total dumbass and you must not be Christian.

Who are you to tell everyone what fact is? You didn't even ask a question. You just gave an uninformed opinion. Christians are not the only smart people in the world and THAT is a FACT. Your ignorance proves that 100% true.

Christians believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. Jews do not. And I am Wiccan and I was smart enough to find this. I am not Christian and do not believe in God or the Devil. So no, Christians are not the only smart people in the world. I respect all religions and spiritual paths, you should too. Albert Einstein is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating and influential figures of the modern era. As a preeminent physicist, he radically transformed our understanding of the universe. As an ardent humanist, he took an active and outspoken stance on the significant political and social issues of his time. As a committed Jew, he advocated a distinctive moral role for the Jewish people.

dumb quetion
u r christian I think
samrt people do not follow a fake religion
The stuff written about jesus in the Bible was written decades after he supposedly died. The first writings were Paul / Saul who never met Jesus, but only met people who supposedly met him. So, it's second-hand information, at best.
Paul really didn't say much about Jesus. He said nothing about his upbringing or earlier life. He doesn't give much of Jesus' teachings, either.
Decades after Paul wrote about him, suddenly some stories were "remembered" by Mark, or whoever wrote in Mark's name. (It was common in those days to sign a more famous name to your work) The later writings of Matthew, Luke, and John seem to have copied Mark or used similar stories or myths that were being circulated in that day.
There were many other stories written about Jesus, too. As Christianity was becoming more popular, people would add to the legend, just as the Gospel writers did.
Around the mid-300's, Constantine converted to Christianity, and made Christianity a state religion. He convened a council of Bishops to decide what stories would be official canon or not. They rejected the rest, for whatever reasons, calling them the Apocrapha.
After more councils, they decided other doctrine, such as whether Jesus was divine or not, created the concept of the "Trinity", decided that Mary was a virgin and a bit divine herself, and other matters not addressed in the Bible

Sounds like you were aiming to make another point, but instead made a controversial point.
If you were meaning that people who believe in God and have accepted Him as the Head of their lives are smart compared to those who continue to be sinners and aim for hell, then I understand what you mean.
Fearing God and following His Word is smart.
Following the devil who will only be destroyed by fire soon is stupid.
Now if you are saying Christians in comparison to Jews, Muslims, Jains, etc, are the only smart ones, then that is just wrong and low down!

Yes, I can deny it. There are plenty of smart Christians, but they most certainly aren't the only smart people. Einstein was Jewish, after all. As are there many of other religions and atheists who are quite intelligent.

If Christians were so smart, they would realize that nasty, abusive elitism is not very Christian. Duh.
If Christians are so smart, how come they need to fear eternal pain to be good?
Why must they use the name of God in war? (see Pres. Bush)
Why do they employ and protect child molesters?
Why do they enthusiastically liken themselves to sheep?
I would go on, but it isn't nice to persecute people because they are stupid.
Deny deny deny deny. There are smart people and stupid people. Christians have their fair share of both.

There have been intelligent people in all religions, Confucius, Archimedes, Plato, Socrates, Julius Caesar, Arum Al Rashid, King Salomon, Pythagoras and many others and I bet for sure that none of them was Christian, even now a days there are many intelligent people who aren't Christians either. We should respect every body, Christians and no Christians, actually a person who does that is a very intelligent one.

I can - there are a lot of smart people in the world who are not Christian. It all depends what your definition of "smart" is. Go well, and God Bless!

It is not a fact, it is an opinion.......if that is true then why were preists molesting little boys? I guess you think that's "smart", huh?
By the way, Christianity does not hold a monopoly on the "truth". Truth is personal and there are many paths to God....not just yours.
PS - it's people claiming "facts" like that this that turn people off to Christians. You are supposed to lead by example..........would Jesus have posted such a "question" as this on Yahoo? Uh,.......don't think so.
