I'm at my mother house, just chk on the house cuz she went the out and my daughter drank an experied milk its been experied since july 24 and the day is aug. 5th

The most that could happen is for her to have an upset stomach. Give her some pep-to bismal.

Has she gotten sick?
If she seems to be okay, thank your lucky stars. If she seems to be feeling sick, that's to be expected. Call the pediatrician, or oddly enough, the poison control center, if she seems to be sick from it. She could get a stomach ache and throw up, but it probably won't cause serious damage.
If it's skim milk, even though it's still way past the expiration date, it does last longer than, say, 2% or whole milk.
If the milk isn't sour, then it's probably not a major thing, just pour out what's left and get a new carton.

The date on the milk is a sell by date. This is not a hard and fast expiration date. Milke goes bad when it turns sour. It won't hurt someone to drink it.

Just keep an eye on her. The milk may not be bad, if it was I don't think your child would have drank it. If it is, then the child will throw up.

if it's not spolied she should be fine.
at most the smell would have turned her off from drinking it... or the chunks if it was spolied
the sell by date and the date it spoils are no where near each other.

Does it stink or look curdled? most of the dates on milk are "Sell by", I don't think you have a problem, besides, what do you think cheese and buttermilk are?
