Its the strangest thing. my long distance relationship with my ex ended about a year ago with her telling me online that she had been seeing someone behind my back and had gotten pregnant. but whats strange is she still kinda stayed in touch with me. her and the baby's father was having problems, and she told me that he had cheated on her etc. she even felt compelled to show me a pic of the child when she had it. why, I dont know. currently, she avoids me like the plague. she rarely accknowledges me anymore. but whats sad is, Im a good guy. people say long distance doesnt work, but she wanted it as much as i did. I never cheated on her, was always honest with her, cool, treated her with respect, helped her whenever she needed it. we used to be really close. the same female that used to send my parents holiday cards. call me all the time, letters, emails. now is as if i she dont even know me. stunning ending to a promising start of a lasting relationship i thought. any thoughts

i think this girl is feeling very alone and confused you could try talking to her and telling her how you feel about the whole thing maybe she's scared that you won't want to be with her because of the kid but if she still doesn't talk to you and she still ignores you you should find some one else and just try to forget about her even though it's going to be hard to loose some one who was really close.... good luck i hope you find someone who deserve somene you can have a long happy relationship with

I was also believe that there are no reason to lies to someone we love.. but now even I don't like lies and still prefer of honesty, I found out why they lies and why the change..
Most peoples lies to the one they loves, even its to their lover, their bestfriends, their parents, theirs kids etc. its because they get scared, if they telling the truth it will hurt the one their loves and they doesn't want to see that happen infront of their eyes and they are the reason that make those happen. so they choose to lies. most are them just wanted to protect the loved feelings, just that. but they also forget not all lies can be keep secret all the time and sometimes its much more hurts then they telling it from the first time. unfortunently they forget about that one.
and why the change.. Times what make them changes! around them what make them changes! I believe somehow everything changes slowly it maybe just maybe because of us or someone around them that effect it. just remember we also changes, we just didn't realise it but everyone around us do. :)
from what I read yours,, I think she suddenly stop contacting you, Probably she realize that she being to cruel to someone a nice and good guy like you.. that is why she stop.
( I have a friend (girl) that doing like what your ex done before)

long distance relationships are based on emotions, and truly it's very difficult to "get to know" someone's personal habits and true character as they type you letters, and IM you.
i suppose it's worked for many people...
maybe you could look at people in the world who actually exist near to you physically. i'm sure there are girls whose ACTUAL presence you'd really enjoy. take care.
