Muslims do not follow Christ.
Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.
(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house
It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?
(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

Amen. With ur kind attitude I wouldn't care to convert u even if I wanted. It takes a true man to stick up for a religion he's not even part of.
And as a Muslim I feel overjoyed to be in the Muslim family I'm in (very open minded and progressive yet spiritual and still sticks to the true message of Islam). I would love to share my religion with every person in the world but I realize I must respect others wishes to go about their own spiritual journey. If religion comes up I'm glad to chime in but I don't try and convert people. Heck, for all I know some other non-Muslim monotheists may make it to heaven without Islam.
It's all in God's hands in the end.
Peace.

Salam
in the Name of Allah
that is what it says
so Allah will do it not us.... a true muslim shows the proof and sits down
the only time they use so called jihad is when they are being oppressed from being from submission.
And your already converted cause you revert to Islam cause you were born Islamic in submission that is why you don't have to be baptized. And something around you has given you that religion you choose, so make sure you remove the blinders so you can see everything and make your own choices... If I wanted you on strings I would have fashioned you with strings....Allah SWT

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Hello. Well, I think we Muslims love our religion and want to share it, but we tend to be diffident when approaching others so as not to be pushy. We don't hand out religious tracts or try to turn every conversation to religion. I know that I have non-Muslim friends and acquaintances, and I try to serve as a good example without overtly prosyletizing. If someone asks a question, I am happy to answer. Perhaps we should be more outgoing, but really, I've been approached by Christians trying to prosyletize me and I know I don't like it when they are pushy, so I would not like to do that myself.
That being said, I WOULD like to invite you to Islam. I became Muslim almost 14 years ago by Allah's Grace and I feel very blessed. Islam is a religion of moderation and it is a very satisfying lifestyle. We believe in One God, Allah, Creator and Sustainer of the universe, and we believe that He sent messengers to help guide mankind. Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, was the final messenger.
I would be happy to refer you to some good Islamic websites that will teach you the fundamental beliefs of Islam. And of course I will answer any question a best I can.
I pray that Allah guides you to that which is best in this world and the next. Ameen.
fi Aman Allah,
Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

Islam is a very personal religion. Muslims are taught not to "convert" but to help and answer any questions someone not of their faith might have. Muslims are not supposed to force their beliefs on anybody. It says in the Quran that there is no compulsion in Religion. (2:256). I am proud to say that I am a new Muslim and I converted after months and months of reading the Quran and asking questions to many many muslims, that never once told me I was going to Hell if I didn't convert. I know that not all Muslims are perfect, but no one is perfect.

"Be glad because it won't save you."
"They are just killing people."
You people do realize that Islam is the #2 religion in the world, right? Roughly a third of the world is Christian (Catholic and protestant, together), and about 20 percent is Muslim.
The protestants and Catholics still believe the other are going to hell, because they practice the same beliefs differently, and all from a shift in political power between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries!
Being an agnostic, myself, I'm not down on anyone's faith. I think they all have very valid ethics, at the bottom of it all, if only there were not divisiveness and elitism at the top. Personally, it is the similarities, rather than the differences, that make any faith worthwhile. People need faith, but my experience with western Christianity have taught me that rigid belief systems are the creation of MAN, not GOD, and the purpose is usually to keep the ignorant serfs in their ignorance, so hate and diviciveness are taught, so to keep the sheep from straying into some other field, all in the name of 'salvation.' Christian evangelism is like Nike saying that, if you buy Adidas, you will burn.
It is hard to be full of holy love if your faith breeds you full of hate and fear. Wasn't self-serving elitism the sin of the Philistines?
Also, if I believed that militant fundamentalist Muslims carried the banner of their faith, then, by the same statistical data, I would have to believe that pastors with shotguns that kill mothers and doctors at abortion clinics support the teachings of Christianity. Of course, if I believed either of those things, well that would just be foolish. The militant fundamentalist, of any faith, is a dangerous animal using whatever means he can to collect and wield power. This is the action of MAN, not GOD.

Actually, you have been warned to convert to Islam, or die. That from top clerics, and also from Bin Louco Laden. Don't you pay attention to the news? They have legally fulfilled all the warnings required before they begin to kill everyone, including innocent women and children. I guess that would be a little more than a passing interest, don't you think? So, do you feel loved? They have warned muslims to leave the US, or die with the infidels. How is that for brotherly love? Do you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, thinking about this "peaceful" religion?

The reason is that all Muslims follow one Quran. Where God Almighty Says
"Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error; whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things (Holy Quran:2:256)
