My partner is unbelieveable; he is like a nosy old dear. He looks out our front window to see who is calling to what house and then proceeds to give me a blow-by-blow account of it.
Oh men are so much worse!

Women are worse by a long shot. Men cannot keep secrets like getting a new grill or tv or taking a special trip but women cannot keep gossip to themselves.

It used to be women but I think men are catching up. Reason: My guess is that the roles of men and women are no longer as sharp as they used to be.
When I attended engineering college 1959-1963 there was not a gal in sight. Visiting about 25 years later it looked almost 50-50. I think this is a great improvement in our society.

In general, I think we are about the same. Men, however, try to act like they aren't gossipy ppl, but you are right, some of them can't wait to gossip. In my eyes, that is worse, b/c at least us women don't deny we LOVE gossip! LOL

Men are waaaaaay worse than women. At least women are a little more selective about what they'll gossip about. Men don't care. They'll repeat anything!

i think its equal, just depends on the person. i know men who are gossips and i know women who are.and whether men or women, young or old, if people are in a group, they (most of the time) will be gossipers and that's the perfect time to gossip. I get sick of it myself, having to hear it so much at work.

I am a female who grew up with all brothers. They gossiped worse than any woman, spent hours on the phone, and take forever to get ready. There friends were even worse. lol

I would say women are worse,especially if in groups like a get together they talk about everything and can share lots of stuff.

it honestly depends.
i have seen some serious girl gossipers and yet i am a female and i hate gossiping.
i have also seen the same situation in guys, so i think it really just depends on the person

Your sterotypeing again we talked about that. Sometimes I feel I am wasteing my time on you people.
Some people gossip and can't be trusted with a secret.
they come in all colors, sexes, heights, weights and religion.
