It's amazing. I know what you mean. I still to this day find it "strange" that I can pray and God answers and makes it clear to me what the answer is. Gives me goose bumps. As Christians we have no idea the power we pocess in prayer.

I have been "dying" to tell some one of this wonderous experience I had this spring.I'm going to try to give you the condensed version, it still might come out long, but I think you'll find it well worth reading. I am not a fan of any organised religion but I do beleive in God in my own way.
I was new on the job, driving truck with super bees (two trailers) and was hauling 30 tons of fertilizer to a farm. though poor instructions and my failure to ask the right questions I ended up in a most impossible situation. I had taken a wrong turn, crawled up this long very steep hill, the gravel road narrowed and winded until I came around one corner and saw the road ahead deteriorated into a muddy narrow goat trail. A loaded truck needs good solid ground to travel on. I was about ten miles down this road, no houses, no traffic and completely out of cell range. I managed to back the rig up around a series of corners, but the last one has a hill on it and the truck didn't have the power to get up it backwards. I was clearly in a "check mate" situation, no way what so ever of turning around, and going forward was not an option. Suddenly, a white pick-up truck drove up behind me, it was two farmers who said they suddenly got the urge to check on their property up here. Their property was right beside where I had orriginally stopped. They were awesome and totally commited to helping me out. They told me that their feild was 400 year old prairie grass and it would have no trouble supporting the weight of the truck. with no other options, I drove the loaded truck though the gate they just opened, did a big "U" turn in their feild and drove back out. These guys lived 35 miles away and got a "strangely urgent desire" to come here. There were just too many strange coincidences to not beleive that God had a direct hand in this

Are you saying this only happens for christians?
I am not a christian, but I have messages and inspiration from God on many occasions. I may run into someone or hear something I needed. I don't believe in coincidence. I believe it was meant to be.
So, just to let you know, It is not just a christian thing.

How vain you are to believe that a supernatural being care about you and your concerns while at the same time allowing horrific atrocities occur all around the world to little babies and dirt poor peasants who would give anything just to see their loved ones get enough to eat to avoid starvation, or even a pain killer to allow them to die more peacefully. You must live in a bubble. I don't even feel sorry for you.

we truly have an 'on-time God'...we can all lift each other...i have been truly blessed when someone says something 'out of the blue' that addresses what's troubling me 'right here, right now'...i like to think of them as 'subtle miracles'
