With so many people now opting to use botox, without knowing what the long term effects may be (if any), why do you think they are so quick to get that needle injected into their face? I'm all for having elective surgery if it makes you happy, but why do people continue to inject what is largely debated to be a toxic substance into their faces?

There are many things in life that do both good and bad. Botox although in another form is poisonous, the doctors have found that the good thing about botox is that it freexes the nerves and that the medication does not spread. That being said, it is found to be a good thing for freezing (so to speak) special areas such as in frown lines and it's safe.

People get the frown lines taken care of mostly when they are out in the public eye because frown lines, to some people, look to some people like the other person is "mad", "angry" or "mean" and that keeps customers away, even though it's merely an "opinion" of another person, but in the US it seems to be a strong opinion so people to gain income (just as they fix their noses, lift their eyes, fix their waddle, lift their jowls, get a tummy tuck and shrink their thighs so that their income in their profession/career will be abundant.

SOME people are willing to do extreme things of all kinds in the name of what they consider "beauty". They will spend money, experience pain, and poison themselves. It's all pretty silly to me, but there are a lot of people who disagree.
