Hi Dubious, Here we go again. When I was attending the Mormon church many years ago, my teacher got cancer. When they opened her up they decided it was so widespread that they should send her to the hospital in a bigger town. Before she went, the elders of her church came and anointed her. Her face lit up and some say she was lifted from the floor. When they opened her to do the surgery all of it was in a ball and it took one snip. God promises us that when He returns to take us home that our bodies will be restored. Our physical and mental disabilities will be healed at that point. Then we are going to have a huge family reunion and dinner...and party. It is going to be fun and I am praying for you Dubious that you will get a little faith the size of a mustard seed so that you can go also. "Christians may not have the best of everything, but, they make the best of what they have". We each have different and difficult paths in this life. Going it alone is hard. That is why having a relationship with your Creator makes it easier because you don't have to face the difficulties alone. Have a good one Mr. Dubious. Mmm

God put rules about creatures. For example humanbeing is not like some of the animals that can reform an amputated part of their body. or because of gravity of earth we stay on it do not up to clouds..... there are billions of rules that never change because of prays. This does not mean that God is not able to break His own rules sometimes He himself break those rules those cases are so called miracles. But miracles are blessings for showing God's support for prophets.
There are other things that can change by pray we need a job we apply to jobs (this is physical part of pray) and we reuest a job from God (this is verbal pray) and we find a job. This subject has many aspects I try to explain as short as possible I hope it helps All the best :)

Consider changing your own focus. I've been where you are, and it is a state of justifying your own imbalance.

You know very well that God does not perform biblical miracles. Those are completely fake.

Christians today experience great things with their faith. That is there business. Sometimes they will be overly optimistic like saying someone's short leg grew (when they just stretched it out).

And did you also know how many illnesses are in the mind? "Cures" occur at a psychological level. This occurs ESPECIALLY with modern allopathic medicine. Today's doctors have much more witchdoctor in them than you think.

I understand your point. I have a problem when people suggest that since I have not been healed of diabetes, arthritis, etc., it's because I haven't had enough faith to believe for a healing. The Apostle Paul had a "thorn in the flesh" that was apparently an unhealed medical condition. He believed it was given to him to keep him dependent on God so he wouldn't get too cocky.

Prayer and being in submission to God means accepting His will, whatever it is. Prayer for healing shouldn't go like, "God, grow me a new leg." God doesn't serve us. It's the other way around.

Not a single one.
They say he can cure cancer or diabetes but he hasn't replaced a single limb. Heck, even a pinky tip seems to beyond his capabilities.
Not much of an omnipotent deity if you ask me...
