Im gettin a tat in about 2 months, ive got my ears, tragus, belly and tongue pierced?
What would hurt more, one of my piercings or a tat?
Im thinking tat but i was hoping someone could give an 100% true accurate answer because they have both done

depending on where you get the tattoo... if you get it somewhere that has thin skin like your inner arm or anywhere close to bone like your ankle, it could be a much greater pain. as for piercings they are quick and just the healing hurts... but tattoos the pain continues all through out the process of getting it. i cant handle much pain but did fine with any tattoo or piercing ive gotten. you really have to be the deciding factor after you get it. everything feels different to everybody. hope it helps.

Honestly the only pain I had when I got my tattoos is when I was getting my cover up. It hurt to go over the old tattoo. Other than that it wasn't really painful, it was more annoying. I have a high tolerance to pain though. Getting my nose pierced didn't hurt either. And a tattoo really only hurts while the needle is in your skin, it doesn't hurt as it heals, unlike some piercings which seem to be tender and hurt while they heal. Yes some places on your body do hurt more of you get a tattoo on them. My lower back tattoo was more painful (especially over my spine) then the ones on my shoulder blades. Its not like its a pain you won't be able to handle. Its a very tollerable pain. Good luck!!

a tat hurts more bcse they take longer.
piercings take seconds....
all 3 of my tats too about an hr to do. not very large but alot of color...
i have my tongue and belly button done, both took under a min from start to finish
i'd hate to see that tat if it only too 1 min to complete...
oh wait that was an episode of jack ***- riding in a dune buggy getting tattooed lol

I have a tongue ring and eight tattoos. Tattoos hurt worse, but they are MORE worth it IMHO, because as much as I love my tongue ring, it just isn't as permanent as my body art. As much as I love my tongue ring, it is the second time I've gotten it done-because the novelty wore off the first time, and I seen so many other people with it... I only got it done again, because my significant other asked me to...again...(Same guy.)
But, anyway, tattoos are worth the pain if they are done right and look fantastic. Do your research for a good artist. Don't be afraid to ask questions and to look at portfolios.

Ive got 10 piercings and 3 tattoos and Ive got to be honest each one of my tattoos hurt more then my piercings, but once its over with you got your tattoo for life

well it matters where you got pierced some places hurt more then others. and it matters on the size of your "Tat".

it actually only hurts when you've got the needle on your skin, but once the whole tatoo is over it will never hurt again.
i also have a piercing (sp?) and with that it hurts when you get it, but then keeps hurting.

tat hurts more just because it takes longer.
