I was thinking about it yesterday. Every animal I have seen has a set of straight teeth. Even though some humans have straight teeth, some grow their teeth in extremely crooked. Think about how many people have had braces. Its genetic, I know, but It seems to me that it would make more sense if we all had straight teeth naturally like other animals. Just curious. Your thoughts, please!

I think you may need to look at animals' teeth more. Both of the neighbor's dogs have crooked teeth, but not so bad as to make it difficult for them to eat.

Humans - for any number of reasons - have crooked teeth. Very few people have teeth that all grow in straight and in the 'correct' alignment naturally. As we get older, very often our teeth become more crowded as our teeth tend to grow toward the front/center. Several animals other than humans have this problem in a more pronounced way, because they repeatedly grow more teeth in from the rear. This is very common in aquatic animals

Sharks. Some Chimpanzees too. Other than that -- excluding dogs & cats, I can't think of any other animals whose teeth I've had a close look at.
