To state the obvious, climate change has always existed. It is currently warmer compared to some times in the past and it is currently cooler compared to sometimes in the past. To conclude that things are going bad or getting better some standard of must be established against which judgments can be made. It is true that some of the best times for people in the past have been in times warmer than now.

Getting on the bandwagon to crying that warming is coming, that it is caused by people, that it will be a terrible disaster, that we must do something, has become the in thing to do even though none of this is supported by facts. It is the fairy tale of Chicken Little crying the “Sky is falling” come to life in the acts of the Ludite flat worlders each shouting that they are more politically correct than anyone else. Of such extremism the reality of scientific facts get thrown out with the bath water.

Is the climate changing? Of course, it always has changed.

Is it getting warmer? There is a modicum of evidence that such is true, but it is not an absolute.

If it is getting warmer is it caused by humans? No such evidence exists.

If it is getting warmer is it bad? It is more likely to be good than bad.

Are people making money on crying disaster? You bet and they are doing so at your expense. Not just in money but in the cost of your freedoms. The solution (for an unproven problem) is increasing governmental control.

The planet has gone through numerous changes since time began and will continue to do so for the millions of years ahead of us. Global Warming is just a label from people or so called scientists that should know better. Like most things in our world you have the choice to believe or not, and in our opinion it is best not to believe what you feel is truly not right.

This is stupid. The globe is warming at a rate of about 1 degree every 100 years. It has been for hundreds of years. It is very difficult for any of us to see the results of this in any specific event or any specific years weather. It is even difficult for any of us to see the change in our lifetime.

Get Real. It is maybe a serious thing and needs addressing, but anyone that thinks they can relate short term weather patterns or events to global warming has their head up their ***.
Look at CO2SCIENCE.org. The average temperature in the US has NOT increased in 30 Years.

Jings, I think that most folk could not give two hoots aboot it. If major changes huv tae be made, it will take eons, and we cannot see a benefit in oor life time, so why bother??? I know we really should try tae make the effort fur the future folk but it all seems like too much hasstle!!!
