I just want to say that "I think it is possible to meet and lead into the direction of love."
I think real honest to goodness love will develop when the two meet, and they agree, to let NOTHING come between them, being together, till death do they part.~~~
My view, for all it's worth. God is good~~~Jill

I met the woman of my dreams online actually. We met and got to know each other. Dated for about a year while we lived 1200 miles apart. We only saw each other 3 times in that year but we had such a passion for each other that we made it work. It was not easy though. It takes a lot of patience, trust, honesty and most importantly communication. We have now lived together for almost a year now and plan on getting married a year from now. Our passion for each other is even stronger than it was when we first started dating. Most online relationships fail, but there are some that can work. It just takes two determined, dedicated people to make it happen.

In a word, yes. I met my wife online. We met in a chat room, sort of accidentally. A week of long phone calls and more chatting later, we met. A few days later, we were married. We knew right away that we were what each other was looking for. 4 years later we are still married and incredibly happy. Does it work out for everyone? No, not every time. Love is grand, jump in with both feet and enjoy the ride. If its meant to be, it will.
Good luck.

Yes, I fell in love with an amazing man on Answers. But we're not official anymore. I still love him though.
It didn't work out because
...not only are we from different countries, but there's a big ocean between us - and it's a cold one! lol
...not only are we on different continents, but we are from different hemispheres - he's having summer now and I'm having winter now
...and not only are we from different generations, there are generations between us!
The actual problem is that I don't think we are ever gonna meet and my lifestyle don't allow me to be online for the bigger part of my days, so my time to 'be with him' is very limited.
But our hearts are the same and that will keep us together forever. We share the same sky...
I hope yours work out!! xx

Of course! My ex (unfortunately) and I were smitten about each other before we ever met in person. We met in a chat room and then decided to have phone conversations a few months later. She said she loved me from day one of meeting (awww!). It's altogether possible to fall for someone before meeting them in person. Good luck with that one, buddy!

It has happened.. It's amazing when it does too. You just don't think it's possible but life is full of surprises.
I mean how can this be any worse than someone who goes to a bar gets hammered and gets a phone number for someone he has never really gotten to know?
