That is the number of times Jesus claimed to be God. It's also the number of times he talked about the Trinity. It's the number of times he said giving to the poor makes them dependent. It's also the number of times he spoke English, said democracy was the only way to govern. It is how many times he said you should pray to him. It is how many times he said you should complain about taxes, welfare and immigrants. It's how many times he talked about homosexuals. It's how many times he talked about church attendence. It's the number of times he said life begins at conception, that abortion is murder, and that courtrooms should have the ten commandments in them. It's the number of times he said there should be prayer in schools. It's the number of times he said the pledge of allegiance.
Wow...zero is a pretty handy number. Or can anyone dispute those things?

It's also the number of Yahoo! Answer's Christians who will think your question is funny, as well as the number of times he told people to force his teachings upon anyone with the sword. Christianity is an invention created by Paul and adopted by the Romans and other powers as a way to justify their personal causes that has little if anything to do with what Jesus ever actually ever said or did.

Definitely. It is just as important as all the other numbers - you can also put a zero on the end of numbers and it makes a huge difference so YES!

The curious thing is that Jesus lived in a society ruled by people (Romans) who had no concept of "zero" as a mathematical entity.

You are considered a liberal Christian. This means that you believe that if there is a conflict between Jesus's teachings and other scriptures, that Jesus's words trump all.
You aren't alone in this belief. Wouldn't life be grand if we all stopped worrying about the details of religon and practiced the Law of Love as He commaneded?

Did he say anything about 'The Ten Commandments', I wonder?
He also didn't say anything about global warming. Bad Jesus, bad. He shouldv'e said to take care of the earth. After all, it is the only planet with chocolate!

You're right on all you mentioned.
Number one is he never once claimed to be god.
The answerer just after me "could go on, but it would be a waste of time".
No, he couldn't go on, cause he just ran out of stuff Jesus said pertaining to your question.
(If "I and my father are one" then how come Jesus said God knows some things that Jesus does not know?)

Glad you like it. I and you and all of us, beings and non beings helped create all numbers and in each one you will find some signifigance in your life. From a human standpoint, if it helps you care and be civil and attempt to heal other humans, then whatever number you pay attention to is one I am glad you do!
Healing be unto you

Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Trinity is a word used to describe "the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" s because it is shorter than saying "the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" in non-baptismal specific discussions.
John 10:30
I and my Father are one.
I could go on, but, obviously it would be a waste of time.
