...Then why can't he write his own books? Why does a human have to write them for him? And why doesn't God realize that humans write so many books and make so many false claims, that the inquisitive among have no choice but to be skeptical of our fellow humans? And if it's so important to God that we believe in him, why doesn't he come up with a more effective method for communicating with us?

The question appears to be , "Why has a suposedly all powerful god chosen to remain silent and seemingly removed from mankind, and why does this same all powerful god need to use mankind as intermediaries rather than simply speak to each one of his supposed creations in such a manner as to not infringe upon their supposed freewill yet make his presence and his intentions clear to one and all?"

If a god or the gods actually exist, the philosopher Aristotle may have deifned it best when he described any such being as an existance that sits in contemplation of itself in contemplation (which I have always invisioned as god sitting inside a mirrored sphere. No matter where it looked, it would only see itself seeing itself seeing itself, ad infinitum, oblivious to any creation it may have begun.)

Yours is a thoughtful question and this one applauds your effort.

This one also suspects that you will possibly hear from those person of a religious ilk and nature who will tell you that their scriptures do not contain errors ( a ridiculous and obviously false statement and point of view), that god speaks to us through these old and errant, as well as self contradictory text of middle eastern mythology and, finally, that everything is "god's will" (which seems to be used to imply that they don't have an answer and that because they don't have an answer no one should seek the same.)
Every thinking individual throughout history has heard the same or similar from the moment the first person said "god spoke to me..." and they said, "But..."
C'est la vie.

May it all be well with you.

"If the total amount of mass-energy is limited, and the amount of usable energy is decreasing, then the universe cannot have existed forever, otherwise it would already have exhausted all usable energy the heat death of the universe." Mass-energy may be limited, and the amount of USABLE energy may be decreasing, but that does not necessarily signify the end of the universe caused by the lack of energy to do work. The amount of energy remains the same. Total equilibrium of energy or "heat" in the universe does not mean the energy ceases to exist. It means that all things that require work as a function of energy to exist can no longer exist. However, the total amount of mass-energy will remain the same. You can state will absolute assurance that the universe has a beginning, only if you have absolute proof that the universe has an end. "The universe requires a cause because it had a beginning" Can we be absolutely sure that the universe had a beginning? If it has no end it has no beginning. Therefore it could have always existed. If "God" does not need a cause because He always existed, then why would a universe need a cause if it has always existed? How can we not be sure that the universe will not exist eternally in a state of equilibrium? What if the universe was not created for the purpose of human beings? "Also, the universe cannot be self-caused nothing can create itself, because that would mean that it existed before it came into existence, which is a logical absurdity." I agree with you there. Of course, a cause cannot be caused by itself. This is valid logic. On the other hand I do have one ponderous thought about time and God. If he caused the universes' beginning, he is a cause. Therefore, would he not be able to produce both cause and effects at His will? Time, like you've stated, "Einstein's general relativity, which has much experimental support, shows that time is linked to matter and space.", is a rate of change. However, I believe that time is a product of any type of change. Or cause and effect. Therefore, would God not be living in his own time? Whether it be constantly varying in speed or not. As he is acting or changing time passes as an effect. Time will not exist only when absolutely nothing exists, including God. However, I am not stating with for a fact that there is not a beginning to the universe. I am simply using logic to seek the truth. However, like all humans I make mistakes because I do not know everything. I am simply using my understanding of what I "know" to produce logical explanations. Maybe there is information out there that proves the universe did begin at a certain instant and that all things in it followed. This is a very interesting question. I like that you used logic to support your argument. That is how it should be done. And don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to disprove you here. I want the same thing you want. The truth. I have questions and I am simply trying to find the answer.

Silly boy. If god wrote the books himself then the nutty Christians would not be able to go around accusing people of being non-believers...and then they would nothing to do.

Many autobiographies are written by someone else other than the subject, living or dead. Why should God be different!

Well, God isn't about a book. The Bible is a guide, not a manual of instructions.

A Creator is the only logical answer and that need not be explained.

God is not / was not OBLIGED to use humans to get a book done.
He CHOSE that method.
The one expression in your presentation that is a tad crooked is:
"Why doesn't God realize....."
He does not have to 'realize' .....we do.

God can, but, last time God did they were in stone and some guy smashed them.

If you took the time to write things out and as soon as someone got it they destroyed it would you keep writing things?

Or would you just stick to talking to people personally, especially since for most of "time" the majority of people have not been able to read.

GOD is very merciful....infact god is around us in every thing .....god created every thing in this universe .......everything around us testifies with his greatness and that he is there.....infact god created human being and god asked all his creatures the sun ....the moon....the mountains wether they would accept to rule earth .....all of them apologized .....only man accepted this responsibility.......god had created man and then man was displaced on earth to take his rule......god sent his books and his messengers in a known order for his wisdom he wanted his message to be delievered to man in a specific order...after all man isn't thankfull for all gifts god had given to him .....he gave him sight.....hearing.....he gave him many pleasures in life.....all god wanted for man is to be wise enough and thank him for his gifts....value these gifts by thanking god and obeying him...that's the way of true happiness...to have faith in god.....but instead man questioned god's presence......so how foolish is man......and how great is god......after all of this he is merciful with his creatures

He just likes to do things the hard way, the way it seems he never did anything at all. It's all about the faith with these guys, remember? They wear the lack of proof as a badge of pride. "I believe stuff without really knowing!" is a good thing for them.
