The premise of science is testability, not being infallible. The expectation isn't that THE answer is found; it is that AN answer is tested.
Scientists are humans, and like all humans, subject to error.

Science, by it's very nature, must be fallible. That is, what is "proven science" today must be ready to give way to new discoveries and new ideas tomorrow.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that at all...that is exactly as it should be.
That being so, it must also be realized that science is equipped to deal with what is material, what is observable with the senses (with or without technology), what is measurable...and that would preclude what is spiritual, what is not observable with the natural senses (with or without technology, what is immeasurable...
Thus, science will never prove or disprove the existence of God.
Let the scientist keep to his own realm, let the follower of religion keep to his, and let laws be voted on equally by both...

Man is always fallible because he is just a man but when you talk about science it should be based on proven facts and things that are observable. the funny thing is that what many people call science is not really science but dwells more in the realm of philosophy because of opinions and theories.

Good question my Friend !
There are three ways of looking at Reality:
1. Religion seeking Spirit and Values
2. Philosophy seeking Mindal Unity and Meanings
3. Science seeking Matter-force-energy control and physical Facts
Since all Humans here are finite and fallible; all three aspects of Reality above are about EQUALLY FALLIBLE as far as purely Human evolutionary contributions are considered.
However, we are continually helped by God Who gives many sincere Humans some auto-revelation (such as: "It is raining; put the top up on your auto." Ha ha -- a joke) and periodic Epochal Revelation. The current one has our Master Jesus and his many High Agents telling us more about God (Spirit Reality -- true religion) and about Mind --deep philosophical meanings and about Matter (force-energy) physical reality facts. Even the deeper value-meaning-fact of Personality -- our each unique Being of "I am of I AM". A remaining question is: Will the religion or philosophy or science portions of the current Revelation be most accepted first by wise Humans here? Hopefully a triune "tie race". :))

It's fallible. Part of science is to admit fallibility. Religion cannot do that.

Very. Theories are disproved every day.
Everything in the world if fallible. At least science is interesting and admits its fallibility.

It's one of the most infallible ways we have of knowing things. For one things: it is SET UP to be proven wrong. It states a hypothosis and then says "now prove me wrong."
How many processes do THAT? Does religion? Politics?

Science will make mistakes. The scientific method guarantees that it will also self-correct sooner or later.
