Because that is what religion is meant to do!
Religion is a method of control and a way of keeping 'tribes' or nations separate and apart.
It's supposed to be all about worshipping god, maybe, but to be a member of a religion you have to worship THEIR god in THEIR way - then you get to go to THEIR heaven.
God doesn't need religion to be worshipped - religions just get in the way.

hello betie,separator between people, is because of the different mind set,the doctry one engage he or her self in determine the religion he belong, know christianity is not a religion

unrighteous judgement, intolerance, or just worry or confused love for ones neighbor. these things lead to reasoning that seperates from us others.
