HELP! music editor? (fast beat)?

i have this really cool song for our dance contest but it was too slow and dragging..how can i turn this song into fast beat?
do you know any music editing software that i could use?

Audacity - it's a great one which lets you record, change the speed of songs and even make remixes. You can get it at:
