Hehe as a horse person this makes me laugh...not only donkeys but some horses have the same mark. It's a dorsal stripe--my friend's purebred Quarterhorse is Buckskin colored and has the same marking. I suppose Jesus also rode on the back of a QH...which wasn't a breed 2000 years ago? Nice one, I can't belive what people resort to sometimes.

So does that mean that when people find an image of the virgin Mary on a grilled cheese sandwich. That Mary was obsessed with grilled cheese way back when Jesus was alive? I mean go check it out, if a donkey's hair pattern is proof of Jesus, why can't a grilled cheese face be proof of the virgin Mary.

I'd like to point out that people are crazy! :)

Ouch. That's worse than "they found a CROSS in the basement of the WTC!" Which, I guess means either JESUS helped with the bombing or people (shockingly) use crossbeams when constructing skyscrapers!

That is pretty bad.

You know, speaking of strange markings, I was born with a birthmark that forms the number 666.

Could this have any religious significance....?

I've seen worse. Kirk Cameron and his pal have a bunch. The banana 'proof' and their 'crocoduck' come to mind.

Wait, the dinosaur bones were put there to test the faithful. That's my favorite.

I don't think she intended it as a "Creation argument".
Not all Christians are Creationists. We don't all drive Firebirds or live in trailer parks, either.
And it is true, you know. Some donkeys do have a narrow strip of darker hair running down their backs and across their shoulders in the shape of a cross.
I guess that marking evolved?
