"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse" (Rom 1:18-20 NKJ).
Take a stab at it truthfully Atheist, Agnostics, Christians, Mystics (Gnostics and others), and other. Be genuine and truly look it over in reason and use unbiased intelligence, which is asking a lot because everything is filtered through our beliefs. I'll add the below for reference.
5. Jesus said, "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.
For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed."
Peace

Paul seems to be saying that God manifests Himself as much in unrighteousness as in righteousness, which would imply that He contains both good and evil. But in the same breath Paul seems to be saying that God will punish the unrighteous.
Paul was, of course, a paranoid schizophrenic, and adherence to the religion he spun out of his madness induces a like madness in the adherent, just as Islam, which was invented by a psychopath, induces psychopathic behaviour in its followers.

We have no excuse for disbelief in God, nor do we have excuse for ungodliness and unrighteousness. The philosphy of eat, drink and be merry for tmw we shall die, indicates that we live our lives without thought of God and what He has done. God has shown us and made manifest to us that He is God. We should put away those things that bring the wrath of God. Look to the heavens, there is no chaos, everything is orderly. Even NASA can prepare for space exploration years in advance because there is such order in our universe that they can count on a specific planet being in a specific place at a specific time. Not only is it orderly but it is also awe inspiring. There is beauty in the heavens.
Things are only hidden to some because we refuse to see the simplest things, so how could we see the "revealed" things? It is so simple to look heavenly or even here on earth and see there was a creator. Know what is in front of your face, that yes, there IS a creator. THEN, the other things will be revealed.
We have no excuse for not understanding.

Paul is saying that people should be able to look at the sky and see an orderly universe and look at the wonder of all of the complex life forms on this planet and see that there is a Creator responsible for all of this.
Paul goes on to say "22 Professing to be wise, they became fools," because people who don't want to submit to the truth that they are created beings who will have to give an account to the Creator have made their own substitutes to explain things so that they can continue to live according to their own fleshly desires and have a carefully constructed excuse for why they are "right" in thinking and doing what they want to do.
It's just like people today who deny God so that they can engage in ungodly pursuits.

There is no such thing as unbiased since "everything is filtered through our beliefs" as you stated. And not only our beliefs but also filtered through our perceptions based on our knowledge and personal life experiences.
The idea that the interpretation of the Bible-what is there-has one true and correct meaning-and any variation from what one believes to be the true meaning is wrong leads us to evaluate and judge one another as being either correct or incorrect. "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you." Could it mean that every true Christian will be in total agreement with what the Lord has chosen to disclose to us as individuals? Or does it mean that the Lord will reveal to us that which we are capable of understanding and able to make use of based on our unique beliefs and perceptions?
Over time I have come to accept that maturity, education and personal experiences had made different passages take on new and different meanings as my perception of them changes. Some of us are "babes" and can only consume milk while others are ready for solid spiritual nutrition.
I will not tempt you to judge how I interpret the first passage given. Do what you will with regards to my biased concept of the personal interpretation v.s. true meaning of all passages.

It means St Paul was losing the plot.
I am a genuine Christian Fundementalist and reject the teachings of Saint Paul, Saint Cuthbert, Vice Pope Eric and every other hanger on who wrapped the christian franchise around his activities for his own gain.
Paul was a Man. Jesus Christ was God, huge difference.
Paul wa reverting to old testament ways to applease the Jewish factions lining up against him.
Do as I do, reject all but the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. In the 1622 King James Bible.

As a Christian we also have to read verse 17, For therein is the righteousness of God reveled from faith to faith--------Now this faith to faith does not mean from the baptise to the Methodist faiths, But from Revelation to revelation, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness, In other words, God judgement is going to be shown amoug all unbelievers,, & also to them that profess Christainanity & really don't have it. Because in verse 21 says Because that when they knew God, they glorified him not as God. & neither were thankful, but became vain in their imagination & their foolish were darkened. So Paul it not just only speaking to a group of people that never knew God, But also to some that profess to know God & went back to the lustful things in this world.

What I get from St. Pauls quote is that God punishes people who do the wrong thing b/c it (the wrong act) suppreses the truth. Anything that is created knows what's right or wrong (on a some level) so anything they do, the consequences are known, so there's no excuse.

It means that God's existence is obvious and that people who deny God are unrighteous and that God can be seen in people who believe in Him.
I may be wrong though.
