I would like to visit a non-denominational church but don't know how to find one. Do they have any particular name to recognize? Is an Alliance church one?

The church that I attend is called The Abundant Life Christian Fellowship - http://www.alcf.net

There are many other non-denominational churches, some good and some not so good. The group of Calvary churches are supposed to be pretty good from what I hear http://www.calvarychapel.com/?show=Churches#

On the other hand I've heard some things that would make me shy away from the 4 Square churches that someone else referenced.

I've never heard of an Alliance church, so I don't know what to tell you about them. I think that they are non-denominational but you would have to look in the phone book and give them a call.

Call the different churches and ask them what denomination they are. They will either tell you or say they are non denominational. Or check the yellow pages for any advertising they may have to see if they say a denominational connection. The one I found was called "Shepherd of The Hills"

I've heard of the Four Square Church, which I think is kinda popular or something. I dunno, never been.
