Consider a situation where you meet both of them. You ask them a question and both of them have different answers. Whose path will you follow, then?

I know God and Son of God are the same. I'm just putting forward a hypothetical question. So, please answer as asked.
Don't go by the books. Write what your conscience would say.

This hypothetical question serves some purpose?
Okay.
IF God and The Son of God are 2 different dieties, then obviously, Jesus is not The Creator -- that honor would have fallen to his father. Although they may both be eternal in the future, only God could have been eternal in the past.
This gives God bragging rights. :-)
I'll have to go with God. Sorry Jesus. God has the edge on you.
Some folks believe that Jesus and God are one in the same. Some believe Jesus is literally God's son. Some believe in the Trinity -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I wish they'd make up their minds. Regardless of his split personality, this personal God of Abraham answers prayers, performs miracles and intervenes on mankind's behalf.
As for me, I don't believe in ANY personal God. If there is a God, he's a cosmic God, not a personal one; a creator, not a meddler.

God the Father is God and Jesus as the Son of God is God and the Holy Spirit of God is God in spirit who are in one God but in three enbtities.
You will never meet God as you are meeting your friends and other human beings.
Follow the right path to God not the path to satan

Depends on if you believe the Bible is the infallible living breathing word and works of God. If this is so yours as mine then it says none come to the Father except through me. So then shouldn't it be considered to be rendering reverence to God the Father for the sacrifice of son Christ, to inquire of him first in all earthly matters.

Kind of a flawed question, don't you think? From what I was taught, God = Son of God = Holy Spirit.

Well, knowing they're the same, as you say you do, and getting different answers - I'd follow neither.
