Absolutely. If you are just starting to get agoraphobic, you might be able to do it yourself. I did. I caught myself becoming agoraphobic after I started having really bad panic attacks several years ago after having my third child. I forced myself slowly to get out of the house and now it's not a problem.
If you can't do it alone, call a psychologist/counselor. You will have to get there, but at least you will be able to get some help. I still have occassional panic attacks, but at least it's under control.

You certainly can, there are many ways, but the best is self control from within, I've done it, your mind has to be strong and say to yourself over and over, day and night I am strong and I can do it, and it the doubt comes back, just laugh at it and say you cant beat me I am stronger than you and you cant stop me, taked steps outside every day and go a little further each time, it really does work, but if you don't have a strong personality, try going to a hypnotist, if that doesnt work try medication from your GP to help relieve the stress, its a beautiful world out there, and I dont go out often myself as I have Menieres Disease and I'm scared I'll have an attack while I'm out, so I'm a bit like you too, Menieres affects your inner ear so your balance just goes without warning so you start staggering and if you dont lie down you start vomiting and other nasties, so I know how you feel, but you can do it, be strong baby girl, and keep telling yourself you CAN do it, I wish you goodluck!!!

Anyone who suffers from a phobia can recover. It's just a matter of finding a counselor or someone that can help you.
