In Matthew 3:17, "a voice from heaven, said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." So Jesus wasn't quite right on that.

Look up the meaning of your friend's name. Maybe it'll give you some clues.

Lots of people hear voices, and it's possible that your friend did hear something, even if it was only inside his head. Look up the "Hearing Voices Movement".

How come your friend heard the voice of the Lord?

John 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

No offense. But, I'd rather believe in Christ than your friend.

Your friend lies....

If the Lord said "Kingdom of your Name" it, to me, indicates your friend is God...

Your friend is lying, thinking he is the second coming or something.
