I think the differing answers on here make it clear that you need to phone your local vets to find out at what age they spay.

I think spaying at 8 weeks is pretty maniacal - no one would put a cat this young through this kind of surgery, it would be dangerous and pointless.

In England we recommend spaying cats and dogs from 5 months of age. They are usually big enough to be able to cope with the surgery just fine by this age.

Cats can get pregnant from 4 months of age, but it's unusual - from 6 months is more usual. It's common sense to just keep them inside until they've been spayed anyway.

where i live you can't get a cat spayed until their 6 months no point before that they haven't developed properly to get pregnant i have two female cats both been spayed at 6 months.

Anytime after 8 weeks it is cheaper if you get it done b4 they turn 6 mnts if not they will charge you for a adult cat

local humane society does it around 12 weeks

about 3 mounths cause if u do it when there older it will cost more.
do it early or she will get pregnet
