Apocolpso is a typical negative western woman she does not know what she's talking about. I don't drive American cars anymore either...they squeak too much and have too much junk in the trunk. Western women in Asia couldn't get laid if they paid for it with 24K gold ingots. I find it intersting watching them sitting together in pubs all over Asia all alone...sad how negative they get when the tables are turned.
Not all but most western women are the most clueless self centered creatures on the planet. they think because they live in a sheltered bubble that the rest of the world is just like them and their own little jaded patch of dirt. Both men and women have strong drives and act upon them to seek comfort from each other. This is the glue that holds civilization together. Radical feminists have created a sick and twisted lifestyle in the western world for the most part.
Asia is much more in tune with reality and thus families and communites are much stronger in Asia. I'm married to a wonderful Thai woman and each day I wake up next to her I am truly thankful.
Bar Girls do not typically see themselves as prostitutes. They know what they are selling but they are really looking for a western husband so it is somewhat like speed dating for them. this is a big generalization so take it just as that.
Bar girls refer to prostitutes as: Street Chickens. Street Chickens are not part of an established bar and aren't working with their friends this is harder for the street chicken and they often are sad and desperate people. BG's are often quite happy with their bar and many friends.
There was one other person on this post that said prostitution was legal in Thailand. That is false it is illegal. However that isn't enforced unless things get out of hand.

According to the "Suppression and Prevention of Prostitution Act of 1996" a prostitute is one that sleeps with a customer for money. Bar girls tend to do that (in 97.83% of all cases), so one must say that bar girls are prostitutes.
Bar girl are, however, less "disadvantaged" than girls working in brothels or massage parlors as these girls cannot refuse a customer. Bar girls and go-go girls can.

you can never tell, prositution is legal in thailand. so any girl can go into it without being misjudged. it's normal there... even the most innocent looking girl you would meet accross the street would be one at night. they pay taxes, they give money to the government. so there's no difference.
maybe if you got std, then that would be the time you could know...lol...

Nobody walks around proudly announcing their profession to be "prostitute". Euphemisms are used and BG is but one example.

you do not pay a prostitute for the intercourse - you pay her to depart you so there's no dating. A gold digger demands to be paid for any time and or interest she 'spends' on you. massive distinction :)
