I am surprised you haven't gotten a whole lot of answers. I suppose people figure this one has been done to death.
For most of the people who use the term "sin" at all, homosexuality is a sin. But plenty of us don't use that term as anything relevant. For us, homosexuality is just what a person is or does, not something to be judgmental about. There's a certain amount of debate about whether it is in a person's make-up at birth, or whether it is a choice consciously made. I think it is sometimes one, sometimes the other. I suspect that when it is a choice, it is more likely bisexuality, in that such a person usually wants the intimacy involved and is accepting of either male or female lovers.
But don't worry about it. If it is part of who you are, then any god worth worshiping understands that.

Yes, a grave sin.
And (remember) Lout (Lot), when he said to his people: "Do you commit the worst sin such as none preceding you has committed in the Alameen (mankind and jinns)?
( سÙرة اÙأعرا٠, Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #80)
And (remember) Lout (Lot), We gave him Hukman (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practised Al-Khabaith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds, etc.). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Fasiqoon (rebellious, disobedient, to Allah).
( سÙرة اÙØ£ÙبÙاء , Al-Anbiya, Chapter #21, Verse #74)
And (remember) Lout (Lot)! When he said to his people . Do you commit AlFahishah (evil, great sin, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, sodomy, etc.) while you see (one another doing evil without any screen, etc.)?"
( سÙرة اÙÙÙ
Ù , An-Naml, Chapter #27, Verse #54)
