I have just turned 25 , and i have noticed vellus ( brown) hairs on my earlobe , i tried to ignore them. But now they have started to grow in size, and they emerge like feathers on my earlobe. I want to get rid of them , but i heard that if u would cut them they will grow back thicker and black.

When you cut hair, it has a flat end, which feels stiffer than when it grows on it's own and has a tapered end. That "old wives' tale" has been around since time began. It never has been true.

Cut your ear hair. It will grow back. Or, if you don't mind a bit of discomfort, have a salon wax your ears. It will grow back, but it will be much longer before you notice it. When it starts growing depends on your family genetics.
