the flood has locked my motor.motor is full of water.i was coveron that day and 14 days later my insurance has laps,what right do i have.I still owe 6,600 dollars and the car can not be fix.what are my rights?I throught they give you a grace peorid.my friend been with them for sevsn years and 14 days later it laps and i have not file no claim.Is it to late b'cause Iwas covered then.

As long as the insurance was in force on the date of the loss you will be fully covered. Just file the claim.

Why are you waiting on filing the claim? That was 3 weeks ago; you should have filed the claim immediately. It's still not too late but every day that you delay will make things more difficult.

If you were covered at the date of the accident you should file and claim and if it was something your insurance covered they will pay. They will determine if it can be fixed, if not they will total it and give you book value. You need to file immediately it has been nearly a month so the flooding could have caused more problems like mold now.

If I can understand you through the 1st-grade spelling and grammar...why didn't you file when it happened? If you had coverage on the date of the loss you'll be OK-but the fact you didn't file until after the policy was cancelled may be a problem.
