Sulpha drugs for suicide? I've never heard of such a thing. They might give you a heck of a case of the trots or make you throw up... but kill you? I guess anything is possible. Sulpha drugs are like antibiotics, and are used for stubborn respiratory and intestinal infections.

Sulphas Tablets is aluminium phosphate. When aluminium phosphate enters the intestines, it releases phosphine gas, a vascular toxic, causing hypotension or a drop in the blood pressure. This leads to multiple organ damage and there is no antidote to this except supportive treatment. There is a close to 100 per cent mortality rate.’’

The possibility of death is very serious. Overdosing on any medication overwhelms the body's ability to effectively process it, and often times does serious damage to the liver and kidneys. The level of damage to her renal system will ultimately decide her fate.
