I have a blister on my finger from Cryotherapy. It is large (1cm diameter) and purple in colour. The Cryotherapy was 8 days ago now, however the blister hasn't decreased in size at all. The odd thing is it now no longer hurts to touch. How long will i have this for?

i once had a blister that was large and on the bottom of my foot, so when i walked it made my ankle saw so i just popped it and it (there was a lot of pus, so have tissues or something to clean it up). but it healed really quickly and made my ankle better.

a blister with blood in it like yours can take months to heal, blisters with just water in them go away fairly quickly because water is quickly absorbed and the tissues heal, but old blood in a blister can takes months to resolve. I'd keep it covered with a bandage so it didn't accidentally get broken open and exposed to infection.

Pop it with a steril needle then clean it with rubing alcohol. then put a banaid on it.

It heals faster that way then it ever will just letting it heal as is, trust me. I've had plenty and they all heal fast when I do this, but be careful, you need to keep it real clean with the rubing alcohol everyday.
