As a dentist, I haven't read any research showing that persistent use of anti-tarter toothpastes are bad.

I personally don't use anti-tartar toothpastes. Prescription strength high fluoride toothpastes are best and what you should concentrate on.

Tarter or calculus builds up because of plaque and saliva. remove the plaque quickly and then you'll never have tartar buildup

no i dont think so. Just watch out for teeth whiteners(crest whitestrips,etc) Makes teeth sensitive(well it does mine anyway at times)

No, like any toothpaste do not ingest it make sure you expectorate and rinse your mouth after brushing.

It is supposed to be good for you but I bought that Pro-Health by crest and it died my sink red.
