Is any dog breed is known for having Oranges? The reason I ask this is I have a mix breed dog, and maybe his eye color would help find what breed he has in him. People say he looks German Shepherd, Chow, and Akita. Do any of these breeds have or are known to have Ornage eyes? Or does any other breed? Please andThank you.

His eyes are gold/brown not orange. I have a terrier mix that has the same color. I don't think it's a certain breed, just happens like blue eyes do. Most people that meet mine, Raggedy Ann, just comment on how pretty & soft they look.

The vet thinks Raggedy is terrier/yorkie mix & that's nothing like yours. I think you have a shepherd mix. He doesn't seem to have the coat common to the chow & akita. He's quite a good looking boy & it shows how much he's loved.

I had two Australian shepherd mix sisters. They were reddish/brown in color, and had amber eyes, which some people call orange.I've seen a lot of dogs with eyes that color. It seems to be more common in red or tan dogs.
