i got my puppy today.
i know he is nervous and all but he hasn't eaten ANYTHING.
his stomach is growling SO much.
i've try to feed her from my hand and she spits it out.
the most she does is lick it.
i don't know what to do im SO SO worried; especially b/c his stomach is growling..
i got him at 3PM and its almost 3AM .
almost 12 hours without food & water.
PLEASE HELP & ANSWER ACCURATE ANSWERS.

the puppy has stress so it is nervous. leave food and water and don't watch him. it makes him nervous

This puppy needs to be seen by a vet and now. This is not normal that a puppy will not eat or drink. As soon as you get a puppy it needs to be examined by a vet to make sure it is healthy, did the person you got it from not tell you that. The fact that he is not drinking is critical. A small puppy will dehydrate very very quickly, this is an emergency.
Find an emergency clinic and bring him there today.A puppy that does not eat or drink for 12 hours will be sick, if he goes 48 he will be comatose and at 72 he will be dead if not sooner. Find an emergency clinic and get him there ASAP.

They usually start nibbling on food and trying to drink a little water at about 3 weeks, but maybe a little sooner for large breeds.

Try offering him a little cooked hamburger mixed with his food.Most pups can't resist it,and it's good for him.If he doesn't eat by tomorrow,I would call a vet and the breeder.

my advice is maybe to leave with alone with his food and water, maybe he just doesnt like being watched. One of my dogs is like that. If that doesnt work I would take him to a vet as soon as they open. Hope your puppy gets better.
