Scar tissue won't change no matter what you do it. Tanning can actually make them stand out. I have burns all over the underside of my forearms from burning myself at my first job, and they actually stand out more when I tan. They stay light as ever while the skin around them is tan.

Hi No, Tanning will not remove scars, if they are relay bad, see your Dr and he can refer you to a specialist to make them appear a bit nicer, but they cannot remove them, everyone has scars, it adds character and can be attractive, so be proud of them, and one day tell stories to your kids and grand kids, they will love hearing about them. I hope this has helped you? Be Happy, From, happytiger.

no but something that really does help is vitamin E pills, the gel ones, you can poke them with a needle and rub the vitamin E on your scar/ scars, it helps minimize them, tanning does help do that too but it doesnt remove them

No it does not remove scarrs...it will cover them up a bit but burning your skin is not good for you. It might cover them up a bit (you will still see them) but underneath the top layer of skin the damage from the sun is horrible so just ask yourself which is better--Covering up your scarrs only a little bit and skin cancer or showing your scarrs and no damge to your skin?? The answer is obvious so be smart when it comes to looking after your skin.

If anything it makes them show up more. I burned my arm pretty good when I was a kid, don't ask me how, it seemed to have disappeared for a couple years, but then one summer I fell asleep at the beach and got one of the most wicked sun burns in my life and it reappearedlike out of F***ing thin air or something.

No - it certainly makes them less noticeable though.
Have you tried Bio oil - I found it very good for some tiny ones I had but not sure how well it works on bigger scars.

No and sometimes it makes them more noticeable. It just depends on the scar and your skin color/type.
